On February 20th, the actor and humorist GORKA AGUINAGALDE acted selflessly for the benefit of the NED Foundation and the Malawi Health Association, supporting our new project in Malawi
SMILE FOR AFRICA! is the title chosen for the show that will surely delight the public.
From these lines we want to thank Gorka for his unconditional support for our cause, as well as our volunteer Dr. Alain Flor-Goikoetxea for their great initiative and generosity.
Organized by our volunteer, Dr. Alain Flor-Goikoetxea Gamo, a new magic function was performed (by The Funny Magic Creepy Show) that took place in the VSala Venecia del Centro Cívico de Torrero (Zaragoza), on January 26th, for the benefit of the NED Foundation.
The show was a great success.
We thank Dr. Flor-Goikoetxea again for his initiative and involvement in our projects.
2015
SOLIDARITY DAY – COLEGIO HERMES (VALENCIA, SPAIN)
As every year, Hermes College and the Association of Mothers and Fathers (AMPA) programmed a Solidarity Day for May 22nd in which all the students learned about the medical and social actions of the NED Foundation (Neurosurgery, Education and Development ) in Tanzania.
Through workshops, dynamics, videos and photos, the children have discovered the needs of some disadvantaged areas of Africa and the actions that are carried out there. All the students and their families have been able to collaborate with this foundation with donations in cash or school supplies.
CULTURAL WEEK CEIP TIRANT LO BLANCH (ALZIRA, VALENCIA)
From April 18th to 22nd, the CEIP Tirant lo Blanch in Alzira (Valencia) invited us to participate in its cultural week with the slogan “Envoltants d’aigua: Alzira vs Zanzibar“
An exhibition of our work in East Africa since our inception was organized and some of our volunteers gave a talk to the students.
MAGIC FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Organizada por nuestro voluntario, Dr. Alain Flor-Goikoetxea Gamo se celebró una función de magia (a cargo de The Funny Magic Creepy Show) que tuvo lugar en la Sala Venecia del Centro Cívico de Torrero de Zaragoza, el día 18 de febrero, a beneficio de la Fundación NED.
Organized by our volunteer, Dr. Alain Flor-Goikoetxea Gamo, a magic function was held (by The Funny Magic Creepy Show) that took place in the Sala Venecia del Centro Cívico de Torrero (Zaragoza), on February 18th, at benefit of the NED Foundation.
The response was massive with a significant collection.
We sincerely thank Dr. Flor-Goikoetxea for his initiative and involvement in our projects.
On April 10th, our Volunteer and President, Dr. José Piquer Belloch, intervened as a speaker at the conference entitled “THE NED FOUNDATION: A VALENCIAN INITIATIVE FOR THE SANITARY DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA” that took place at the Club de Tenis Valencia.
This invitation is the fruit of the selfless work of hundreds of volunteers.
Before and after the event, we showed our work in a small stand and offered some publicity items to the attendees.
2012
PRIMER CONCIERTO BENÉFICO NED
Thanks to the collaboration of the Palau de la Música in Valencia, on May 2nd, 2012, at 8:00 p.m., with the selfless performance of the Santísima Trinidad Choir in Valencia, we held our first Charity Concert.
It is an immense pleasure to inform you that our First Charity Concert was a resounding success.
The incomparable setting of the Palu de la Música in Valencia, the magnificent performance of the Santísima Trinidad Choir, the brilliant conduct of the event by Rafa Vives and your warm and massive reception of this initiative, have been the keys to this success.
From these few lines, we wish to convey our thanks to:
Management, Public Relations, Room and Stagestaff of the Palau de la Música, for their help and cooperation.
Mrs. Carmina Moreno, director of the Choir, the pianist and all its members, for the choice of the repertoire and for what they made us enjoy.

The theater group of the Falla Avenida Josep Pau de Alzira (Valencia, Spain), known as Xarreta Teatre, staged on April 3rd, 2011, the play in Valencian “El sopar dels idiotes” (The dinner) by Francis Veber , in the Auditorium of the Casa de la Cultura de Cullera.
This representation was for the benefit of our Foundation, collaborating in its organization and execution the Hon. Cullera Town Hall, La Ribera University Hospital, Falla Avda. Josep Pau de Alzira together with volunteers from our Foundation.
UNIVERSITY AND SOLIDARITY DAYS 2011 – CEU CARDENAL HERRERA UNIVERSITY (VALENCIA)
The Conference on Universityand Solidarity organized by the CEU Cardenal Herrera University, on March 23rd and 24th 2011, were designed to promote awareness among academics of the work of institutions and NGOs working to improve conditions lives of the needy. To do this, students had the presence of different organizations such as the Spanish Red Cross, Caritas, Manos Unidas, International Cooperation, Fontilles, plus DASYC Foundation, NED and Mullion, among others.
Alongside these academic conferences was held during these two days a solidarity marathon and a charity breakfast, which participated in the university community and whose benefits are destined to Caritas projects in Haiti.
During breakfast, there was also a solidarity fair in which different NGOs, the NED Foundation, participated, bringing our experiences to all university students.
In academic seminars, our volunteer and patron Mr. Antonio Gomez Brau participated in the Round Table “University Awareness”

FAMILY THEATER
The children’s theater company Julio Marti, represent on September 17th, 2010 in the Main Theater of Alcira the play “Uhhhh !!!!” to benefit our Foundation.
