The aim is to improve Neurosurgical training through practical teaching and Neuroanatomy through the organization of courses in different hospitals in the region.

An additional important aspect has been the signing to build an African Institute of Neurological Sciences in Nairobi. This Institute should be a great instrument for the practical teaching of neurosurgery in Africa.

Currently, the possibilities are being planned and the donation of land that would allow its construction has been obtained.

It should be a great opportunity to build a teaching laboratory in order to teach neurosurgery through neuroanatomy through hands-on or practical courses, since these types of teaching activities are the best suited to the staff that the NED Foundation has extensive experience in organizing Workshops both in the laboratory of the University of St. Louis (USA) and in the laboratory of the Hospital Univ. de la Ribera de Alzira (Valencia, Spain).
