In March 2012 mission participated for the first time Portuguese volunteers, they were coordinated and led by Dr Miguel Casimiro (Neurosurgeon), Dr Carla Reizinho (Neurosurgeon), Dr Alexandra Santos (Neurosurgeon), Dr Fernanda Palma Mira (Anesthesiologist) and Mrs. Sandra Couto (Scrub Nurse) participated in the Mnazi Mmoja Hopistal Mission.
