Our volunteers traveled once again to Tanzania in order to develope two new missions this month. One was a Neurosurgical mission in Zanzibar and the other was a Gynecological one placed in Pemba island:
Pemba: Mrs. Inés García Barba (Midwife), Dr Luis Javier Matute Tobías (Gynecologist), Dr Mª Asuncion Lorente Hervás (Gynecologist) and Mrs. Mª Angeles Moreno Vera (Midwife)
Zanzíbar: Mr. Luis Moreno Oliveras (Scrub nurse), Dr Lucía García Covisa (Anesthesiologist), Dr Sergi Tormo Ferrandiz (Neurosurgeon), Dr Julia Cano Gimeno (Radiologist), Dr José Piquer Belloch (Neurosurgeon), Dr Mª Luisa Gandía González (Neurosurgeon) and the Scrub nurses Mrs. Lourdes Garcés Gomis and Mrs. Dolores Galiana Lloret.
This two missions did a great job both in Mnazi Mmoja Hospital in Zanzibar and in Chake-Chake Hospital in Pemba. They also visited the Wete Hospital where some patients were operated.
