Amparo Molina Aracil, thanks to the “TONI GÓMEZ Cooperation Grant” created in memory of a great friend of ours, a person of strong humanitarian convictions, who with the simplicity of his actions knew how to convey the greatness of life in the light of social commitment.

Amparo will coordinate and manage the Institute for 3 months (from January 8th to April 11th). In addition, it will be responsible for coordinating the Missions planned during your stay, as well as updating and maintaining the Institute’s Patient Base

Beginning undoubtedly short history in the life of the Institute thanks to the courage, effort, generosity and enthusiasm of Amparo.

A few days later, specifically on January 17th, a new mission traveled to the Institute. On this occasion it was coordinated by Dr Luis Francisco Gómez Perals (Neurosurgeon), who is accompanied by Dr Yanire Sánchez Medina (Neurosurgeon), Dr Marisol Sánchez Medina (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) and Mrs. Sandra Rabadán Orduña (Scrub Nurse ).

During their stay, patients were evaluated in consultations: clinical evaluation and selection of patients with neurosurgical and plastic / restorative pathology. Planning and execution of surgical activity: Surgery of previously selected cases (neurosurgery and plastic / restorative). Collaboration in the review, reorganization and distribution of specific material. Clinical assessment of hospitalized patients in Mnazi Mmoja who were consulted. Follow-up of the operated patients.

They also exercised teaching functions of local nurses in the acquisition of knowledge as a circulating nurse
