The VIU-NED Chair in Global Neuroscience and Social Change organizes the first thematic conference on Neuroscience and Social Change on 24-25 October 2022. The event will take place in hybrid format: face-to-face and online.
The inauguration of the Working Days will take place on 24 October at 5 p.m. at the Ilustre Colegio Oficial de Médicos de Valencia (Avenida de la Plata, 34). The event will be opened by Dr Mercedes Hurtado (President of the Official College of Doctors of Valencia), Dr Vicente Gea Caballero (Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of VIU) and Dr José Martí Parreño (Vice-Rector of Research and Transfer VIU).
The VIU-NED Chair in Global Neuroscience and Social Change will be presented by Dr Jose Piquer Belloch, Co-Director of the Chair and President of the NED Foundation, and Dr Maria Jose Garcia Rubio, Co-Director of the Chair and VIU Professor. The Keynote Lecture will deal with “Functional recreation of Neuroanatomy through computational Neuroimaging” and will be given by Dr Jesus Cortes, renowned expert and Founder of the Neuroimaging Laboratory of the Biocruces-Bizkaia Health Research Institute.
