Training Grants for African Health Professionals
The NED Foundation invites applications for training grants aimed at supporting African health professionals working in low-resource health systems. These grants are designed to provide opportunities for skill enhancement, capacity building, and knowledge exchange to improve healthcare delivery in under-resourced settings.
The grants may cover participation in specialized training programs, short-term courses, workshops, or fellowships in relevant fields. Applications will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, considering the alignment with the Foundation’s priorities, the applicant’s professional background, and the specific needs of the healthcare system where they work.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be healthcare professionals currently working in Africa within a low-resource healthcare system.
- The proposed training must demonstrate clear relevance to improving local healthcare capacity.
- Priority will be given to initiatives in neurosurgery, neuropsychology, or related specialties.
Application Process:
- Complete the general application form, providing a detailed description of the proposed training and its expected impact on local healthcare.
- Include a current CV, proof of professional qualifications and all relevant documentation.
- Applications will be considered based on the Foundation’s available resources and priorities at the time of submission.
