Hands-on Course for Medical Professionals
From November 13th to 17th we are organizing a new course on advanced diagnosis and anatomy of the human brain at the NED Mnazi Mmoja Institute in Zanzibar. This course is aimed at any medical professional interested in a comprehensive review of the anatomy, function and pathophysiology of the human brain, primary care physicians and specialists, nurses and other healthcare professionals. The course will offer theoretical sessions and practical workshops and will feature internationally renowned speakers.
Led by neurosurgeons Jose Piquer (NED Foundation President), Paul H. Young (NED Honorary President) and Mahmood M. Qureshi (NED Honorary Vice President), this course expands the training offerings developed by the foundation to improve the education of healthcare professionals from low-income healthcare systems.
