On November 18th, a new Multidisciplicar mission of 2017 arrived at the Mnazi Mmoja NED Surgical Institute, coordinated by Dr Luis Francisco Gomez Perals (Neurosurgeon) accompanied by Dr Yanire Sanchez Medina (Neurosurgeon), Dr Mª Teresa Sanchez Medina (Plastic Surgeon) and nurses Mrs. Lorena Sanchez Medina, Mrs. Alba Gabriela Antequera Pestano and Mrs. Carolina Aida Santana Boza.
They carried out: coordination of the assistance work (consultations, operating room, plant and UVI) of the NED institute during the mission. Review and material listings of neurosurgery boxes. Warehouse organization. Performing Neurosurgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery interventions. Observation and postoperative care. Teaching of health personnel.
Our last Neurosurgical mission was made up of Dr Monica Buxeda Rodriguez (Neurosurgeon) and Dr Laura Salgado Lopez (Neurosurgeon), who continued with the surgical interventions, patient care and teaching of the Institute’s staff.
