One more year, our volunteer Dr Jose Luis Llacer Ortega (Neurosurgeon) was in charge of the Coordination of a Neurosurgical mission to the Mnazi Mmoja NED Surgical Institute in Zanzibar (Tanzania), accompanied by Dr Ruben Rodriguez Mena (Neurosurgeon) and Mrs. Cristina Sanz Romero (Scrub Nurse) arrived on the island, where they remained until March 6th.

At the Institute, Mrs. Nuria Ballo Martinez who, as we have already informed you, has been the Institute’s Nursing Coordinator since January 8, has received them.

They performed neurosurgery clinic consultation. Surgical interventions Neurosurgery. Assessment and treatment of post-surgical patients in the Hospitalization Room.
