INSTITUT VALENCIÀ D’ART MODERN (IVAM) VALENCIA (ESPAÑA)
November 26th, 2016
On November 26th, 2016, our second Charity Dinner took place at IVAM
We want to thank you for the great welcome that this initiative has had again among the NED Friends: we have gathered THREE HUNDRED Friends of our Foundation!
Your unconditional and generous support, brought us together in an well-loved evening, in which the documentary “A hospital in Africa” was screened, directed by D. Julio Flor,, who has had the wonderful camera of the photographer Txetxu Berruezo.
We also made the delivery of some gifts of gratitude to the first Coordinators of our Institute, within the activities of the “Tony Gómez” Grant created as a tribute to the Founder, Patron, Secretary and dedicated Volunteer by our Foundation.
It was a night of reunions and hugs with solidarity people from the world of Health.
Also, supporting our cause and delighting us, Indie Folk Band Zissou group gave us an excellent concert, making our friends enjoy and participate with them.
Among the images of the meeting at IVAM, we stayed with Iddi, Tanzanian nurse of our Institute, who, when addressing the attendees, for 3 minutes, did so by sticking his hand to his chest. With his heart beating in his throat …
We would like, at the same time as thanking all those who accompanied us that night, to apologise to all those who were unable to attend, due to having covered the intended capacity.
MANY THANKS TO YOU ALL! ASANTE SANA KILA MTU!
“The World pain is so immoderate, that seems it try to bail out the sea using a thimble“, but you try!
