Esta mañana, 7 de Marzo de 2011 a las 13 horas y en el Jardín Botánico, la Consellería de Solidaridad y Ciudadanía de la Comunidad Valenciana ha presentado la nueva Campaña Solidaria 2011 y ha entregado los Premios correspondientes a la VIII Edición del Concurso Internacional de Fotografía “Objetivo Abierto” y la III Edición del Premio “Solidaria”. Como ya os informamos, el jurado nos otorgó un Mención de Honor por nuestro trabajo y trayectoria.

MOMBASA MISSION – OCTUBER 2010

  On October from 2nd to 9th, Dr. Gisela Alamán, Dr. Vicente Rovira and Nurse, Amparo Piquer traveled to Mombasa (Kenya) on a new mission of the NED Foundation. They attended a large number of patients and performed a good number of interventions, detecting the need to improve and modernize the ICU of the hospital .

INTENSA ACTIVIDAD DE LA FUNDACIÓN NED EN VERANO 2010

Durante los meses de julio y agosto la Fundación Neurocirugía, Educación y Desarrollo (NED) ha continuado con su programa de proyectos en África del este. En este tiempo varios equipos de especialistas se han desplazado a Sudán, Kenia, Tanzania y Zanzíbar con el objetivo de consolidar la presencia de NED en la región. Entre el 15 y el 25 de julio, los doctores Qureshi y Piquer viajaron a Sudán, donde realizaron intervenciones con neuroendoscopia en varios hospitales del país y organizaron un Workshop en el Neuroespine Center de El Ribat para formar a neurocirujanos locales. Tras esta estancia, el equipo se trasladó a Kenia para cumplir con un extenso programa de actividades.

NEW MISSION FROM NED TO TANZANIA

From November 15th to December 6th, 2009, six volunteers from the NED Foundation, Dr. Yanire Sánchez Medina (Neurourgeon), Ms. Paula Gómez-Ullate Fuente (Scrub Nurse), Dr. Anad Vaswani Dadlani (Anesthesiologist), Dr. Pedro Antonio Pérez del Rosario (Neurosurgeon), Mr. José Luis Camarero Galdón (ADE) and Dr. Luis Francisco Gómez Perals (Neurosurgeon) of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, will travel to Tanzania, with the aim of developing the neurosurgical care that started this summer at the MNAZI MOJA HOSPITAL in Zanzibar.
