During this month of August, 9 volunteers went to Tanzania to carry out their work at the Chake Chake Hospital in Pemba.

Coordinated by Mrs. Sandra Sala Pascual (Gynecological Nurse), traveled: Dr Juana Crespo Simó (Gynecologist), Dr Francisco Villalba Ferrer (General Surgeon), Dr Roberto Moltó García (Plastic Surgeon), Dr Aránzazu Pérez Plaza (Plastic Surgeon), Dr. Christian Klenner Muñoz (Plastic Surgeon), Dr Carla Bases Valenzuela (Surgeon), Dr Mar Sanmartín (Gynecologist), and Mr. Salvador J. Olmos Sánchez (Interpreter).

During their stay, they carried out training tasks for local medical and nursing staff in vaginal ultrasound; daily consultations by specialty; controls and follow-up of admissions, surgical and postoperative; organization, classification and cleaning of medical, surgical and pharmaceutical material. Teaching in surgery; teaching when it comes to treating both diabetic foot and burns; teaching in medication administration, as well as maintaining continuity.
