It is a pleasure to present the education project in Neurosurgery and Neuroanatomy that the NED Foundation, in collaboration with 3DNeuroanatomy (Dr. Pablo González-López) will carry out in the MNAZI MMOJA NED SURGICAL INSTITUTE in Zanzibar (Tanzania), starting next May, extending to 2019.

Recently, the Institute has been accredited as a reference center for Neurosurgeons in East Africa for the College of Surgeons of Eastern, Southern and Central Africa (COSECSA).

This educational project is focused on young neurosurgeons and residents, with the aim of bringing them closer to neuroanatomical concepts, as well as the most common surgical approaches in stereoscopic format.

In order to cover most of the neurosurgical pathology, it has been divided into six courses to close the cycle of three years with two annual courses.

This year 2018 will cover the chapters of basic approaches and brain anatomy, and approaches in neuroendoscopy.
